Steve Shoemaker

Steve Shoemaker

Director of Tacoperations

Steve comes to KTM most recently from Sysco Foods in Denver, where he spent just over 6 years as a Marketing Associate. During his time at Sysco, he not only earned awards for excellence and growth but also served his customers with the utmost integrity and professionalism. He was and remains a respected leader and resource to his former coworkers. Prior to Sysco, Steve worked with the Hillstone Restaurant Group for nearly 10 years where he learned the importance of standardized systems and team culture.

Growing up in Indiana, Steve spent a lot of time in the outdoors and was fortunate to have a nice 10-acre yard to play football, baseball, soccer, drive golf balls as hard as he wanted and use their tractor to make BMX tracks and RC car tracks. He focused on soccer for most of his life but because he could not sit still for more than 3 minutes (remains true today), he occupied and challenged himself by doing door to door sales, refereeing soccer games in between his own soccer games, wrestling, baseball, track & field, Cross Country, cycling, swimming and filled every season with various activities.

After graduating Huntington College, Steve attended Johnson & Wales in Denver, CO. He participated in the Garnish Your Degree program which earned him. his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. During this time, he worked for the California Café in Park Meadows. At Johnson & Wales, Steve made a lot of industry contacts who branched out to different states and in different capacities in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
