The City Park Team
Our team is a veritable melting pot, with people from all corners of the country and pretty much every walk of life. They do have some things in common, though: a passion for food and the uncanny knack for making your experience an amazing one. Take a look at our stories and come on in to talk to us—we may even quiz you.
Jennah was born in Loraine, Oregon and moved to Colorado when she was 3 years old. She grew up in Denver, attending Manual High School and graduated from East High School. She attended Metropolitan State College of Denver before moving to Seattle in 2001.
Jennah has worked in restaurants for practically her entire life, it seems. While living in Seattle, she also worked in the landscaping and gardening industry excercising her love of being outside and playing in the dirt. She returned to Colorado in 2010 to reunite with her family and the sunshine and soon after became employed with KTM Restaurant Group. She started as a host and soon after began serving which she did 5 nights a week for 5 years.
In 2016, Jennah got her feet wet in management and was then promoted to Assistant General Manager of the City Park Location. In 2017, she became the General Manager of the same location.
She loves the people she works with, takes pride in leading by example, loves the energy & excitement of the restaurant and LOVES tacos.

Assistant General Manager
Brian Smith was born in Elmhurst, IL and grew up traveling and spending time outdoors. The middle child in a family of 7, he is the considered the smartest, most loved, and favorite child of them all. Brian’s first job was washing dishes in a country western steak bar in his hometown, which was the beginning of his restaurant career. Brian got his degree in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Arizona State University. After 8 years in the desert, he spent a summer in Elfin Cove, AK, fishing for a charter company as a deckhand. After that glorious summer, Brian moved back to Chicago to be a little fish in a big pond. Living and working in the city in various venues, Brian further developed his restaurant skills. He has been with Tacos Tequila Whiskey since April of 2017. The proud parent of a smart, free-loading, and loving reservation dog, he tries to spend as much time outdoors, exploring, and daydreaming as possible. In winter he snowboards and avoids yellow snow. He has been to 14 countries around the world and is always looking for the next experience. Part Democratic and part Laissez-faire in his management style, Brian likes to empower his staff and wants their growth to match their ambition.

Joe grew up in the metro Detroit area and graduated from Michigan State University. His next big step was moving to Denver, CO in 2012. He’s been working in the service industry since he was 16 starting off in mom and pop restaurants to corporate stores and then back to the private sector. Along the way, Joe spent some time utilizing his Human Resources degree working with a dialysis company and then spent time in software, eventually realizing that hospitality needed to be his full-time passion and career.
Joe started with Tacos, Tequila, Whiskey as a weekend warrior in April of 2014 and came on full time in October of 2016. He now splits his time on the floor and with managing at our City Park location on York Street. With his focus on our core values and appreciation for our community, Joe is dedicated to making our guests know, nuestra casa es su casa.
